TAOO Noir

TAOO is a kinetic meditation timer. You place marbles on a slowly rotating disc — one for each moment you want to mark. As the disc turns, each marble eventually reaches its tipping point, rolls inward, and gently strikes the singing bowl. No countdown. No screen. Just the quiet geometry of time, made visible.

TAOO Noir carries the energy of depth. Its matte black surface absorbs light the way silence absorbs noise. The geometry is there — precise, intentional — but it doesn't announce itself. Time becomes something you sense rather than watch.

Place a gemstone marble on the minute disc. It travels slowly — almost invisibly — toward the notch. When it arrives, it drops into a Japanese singing bowl. A clear, resonating chime marks the end of your interval.

Set one marble for a single interval. Set several for a sequence. The disc is divided into three-minute steps, giving you full control over the rhythm of your practice.

TAOO began as a simple idea, developed over more than a year through continuous prototyping, iterations, and refinement of form, material, and mechanism.

Today, it runs for months on a single battery, with one simple interaction: placing a marble. Each piece is assembled by hand from high-quality materials — aluminum, wood, brass, and custom-made soft-touch tracks — then carefully prepared for shipping.
