TAOO — in its function,
is a physical timer for setting intervals of focus.
TAOO — in its essence,
is a sculpture that honors the beauty
of time and existence.

the kinetic timer

Once the marble reaches the zero point, it is gently pushed to roll toward the sound bowl, signaling the end of set interval.
Time is set by placing marbles on a rotating disc. Powered by a silent clockwork, the disc completes one full rotation per hour.

Just like time, TAOO is always on. You decide when to flow with it.
Have you ever wondered how weird
it is to use a smartphone for meditation?
TAOO liberates timekeeping from the digital noise.
No pings, no pulls, just intention.

With each TAOO, you can choose a set of seven gemstone marbles to curate the lineup of your practice.

TAOO is available with black and white minute dials. More variants and special editions will follow.

The core of TAOO is a premium Japanese Rin Bowl. The so called 'Dharma' bowl is known for its harmonious, long-resonating tone, offering a clear yet gentle signal at the end of each interval.

There is something deeply intimate about our relationship with time. How we choose to spend our moments eventually shapes our life. And the way we treat time reflects how we treat ourselves.
I created TAOO as a ritual object for your personal self-care — a sculpture that honors this sacred space.
TAOO turns the act of timekeeping into a ceremony: slow down, set your intention, and come back to your own time zone.
After a year of quiet development, TAOO is approaching its first release. If this vision speaks to you, join the waiting list to be notified — and to reserve your chance to get the first edition.
Developing TAOO was a wonderful experience. At first it was only an idea—an intuition with no clue about its feasibility. Somehow I felt guided. For every challenge that came up, I was able to find a solution, even when it often appeared not solvable at all.
What followed was a long journey: from the first spark of the idea, to creating the prototype, to fine-tuning the geometry and mechanics, to filing the patent, and finally shaping a product that can be produced in batch.
Find here some impressions from that journey—small fragments of how TAOO slowly revealed itself.

Thank you for your Time.
